Residen•al streets and corridors surrounding Garden Street are less safe and more congested a•er removing the tra•c lane in 2022. The community has spoken loudly and persistently for these changes over the last two years with: - Numerous in-person outreach mee•ngs, - Over 500 emails for the December City Council mee•ng, - Numerous communica•ons with Councillors. Op•on #4 retains bike lanes and makes streets safer for all users. I support a lane on each side of the street going with tra•c — NOT two ways side by side . It is very hard to pull into tra•c when bikes go both ways side by side TT&P must also priori•ze reten•on or replacement of parking for the residents of the handful of buildings most impacted by bike lanes.
