To the Honorable, the City Council:
I am pleased to report that after a series of conversations my office held with families and the School administration, the School district will be offering a halal meat option to students at all Elementary and Upper School sites. Please see the attached letter that will be sent to families. We join a handful school districts across the country who have expanded this meal option.
