Questions for the COVID-19 update
1. Since herd immunity is important to stop the spread and new variants are continuing to arise, it is important that we continue the successful drive to get everyone possible vaccinated. We are fortunate that due to concerted efforts our vaccination rates across different ethnic and racial groups outpace the state. Essential workers and other works who live elsewhere also deserve protection - once the vaccines are formally approved are there any plans to encourage everyone to get vaccinated – not only people who live in Cambridge but also those who work in Cambridge?
2. Once the emergency is lifted, what are the ways the city is constrained or not constrained in being able to respond to the situation of signs that public health may be compromised?
