DEPUTY CITY CLERK
Dear Honorable Mayor Siddiqui and Councillors, The vote taken on October 3, 2022, to ordain the Wage Theft Ordinance #2022-3, was taken prematurely due to a clerical error. This Ordinance passed to a second reading on September 19, 2022, and it was advertised in the Chronicle on September 29, 2022.
The Municipal Code of the City of Cambridge, 1.12.030 - Public notice and hearing
requirements, states that at least 10 days must pass after publication, before final passage. I recommend that the vote to ordain be taken again at the City Council meeting on October 17, 2022. I have put it on the agenda, under "Unfinished Business"
