City Council, April 9, 2012

Transmitting communication from Robert W. Healy, City Manager, relative to an additional appropriation to the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) grant in the amount of $506,250.00 funded by the Federal Department of Health and Human Services ($310,800) and the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development ($195,450), which also administers the program, to the Grant Fund Human Service Programs Salary and Wages account ($36,005.00), to the Grant Fund Human Service Programs Other Ordinary Maintenance account ($465,245.00), and to the Grant Fund Human Service Programs Travel and Training account ($5,000.00) which will allow the Department of Human Service Programs to operate the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program serving Cambridge and Somerville.
