TheCambridge Record

The city's record is written by people in a hurry, and it contains typing errors. This site corrects the spelling of a word and nothing else, so that a page does not read as though the mistake were ours. Every correction it makes is listed here.

What is never corrected: a name, a date, a tally, or an outcome. Where the record is wrong about the world, it stands as the city wrote it, and where the city's own minutes disagree with its portal, the minutes win. Those are matters of record, not of spelling, and correcting them quietly would put this site's word above the city's.
