City Manager Letter

I am hereby transmitting notification of the appointment of Kevin A. Foster as a resident member of the Community Preservation Act Committee for a five year term, to expire June 1, 2017.

Mr. Foster is very interested in community process and the benefits of having funding available for Historic Preservation, Open Space and Affordable Housing. With his family, including two young children, Mr. Foster enjoys Cambridge's variety of open space, he believes strongly in the preservation of Cambridge's wide-ranging historic resources and understands the importance of maintaining the city's diversity through provision of affordable housing opportunities.

Mr. Foster has a background in computer business strategy, with extensive experience leading cross-functional multi-national teams working on global projects, from concept development to successful implementation. He will bring his analytical business approach to considerations of local benefit for the residents of Cambridge as he weighs proposals for expenditure of CPA funds.
