Healy, City Manager, relative to an appropriation of the Low Income Heating Assistance Program grant in the amount of $1,027,975.00 funded by the Federal Department of Health and Human Services and administered in Massachusetts by the Commonwealth's Department of Housing and Community Development to the Grant Fund Human Service Programs Salary and Wages account ($244,685.00) and the Other Ordinary Maintenance account ($783,290.00) to allow the operation of the Low Income Heating Assistance Program (LIHEAP) serving Cambridge and Somerville.
