WHEREAS: In May 2012, a 16 year old girl, Charlene D. Holmes, was murdered in the City of Cambridge; and
WHEREAS: There has not been a police department report or news update to the current status of efforts to find those responsible for this reprehensive crime; now therefore be it
ORDERED: That the City Manager be and hereby is requested to confer with the Police Commissioner to determine a format that will accomodate the City Council and the family for an update on this crime. The public needs to know what is being done to solve this crime and bring the perpetuator to justice.
