City Council, May 10, 2010

That the City Council reaffirm its position, as stated in its Policy Order Resolution of June 22, 2009, opposing any conversion of 303 Third Street from condominiums to rental housing, supporting the remedy of specific performance for the plaintiffs, which will also result in the availability for purchase, rather than rent, of 22 units of affordable housing in the building, and improve the stability and character of Kendall Square by bringing more owner-occupied housing to the area.
