That the City Council go on record urging that any new legislation to bring generic biotech drugs to the market faster include provisions to ensure that the public health is protected by adequate testing of follow-on biologics and that the ability of biotech companies to recoup sufficient returns to keep them investing in this important enterprise is also protected.
