That the City Council go on record urging that the United States Department of Labor more effectively enforce the Equal Pay Act of 1963, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009 and other continued efforts for ensuring parity in pay for women so that women in comparable positions make incomes much more closely related to their male counterparts.
