An application was received from Senior Economic Development Manager, Pardis Saffari, Community Development Department requesting permission for a twenty nine (29) temporary pole banners in the neighborhood of Inman Square to celebrate and promote the neighborhood of Inman Square from the Spring of 2021 thru Fall of 2023

May 3, 2021 To the Honorable City Councilors of Cambridge City Council City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA 02139 Dear Council Members: I am writing to respectfully request your permission to hang banners to celebrate and promote the neighborhood of Inman Square, as a part of the City’s Inman Square Construction Mitigation efforts. The banners would be hung in the Spring 2021 and be taken down no earlier than that Fall of 2023. The request includes twenty-nine (29) 24” X 48” street pole banners to be hung on poles in the neighborhood. The banners will be double sided so they will look the same from both sides. Enclosed are the designs for the street pole banners and the exact street poles we propose to use. The designs were made in collaboration with the East Cambridge Business Association.
