COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine Clinics 5 King Open Clinic Pediatric Dose 2 Clinic December 1 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. King Open School CPHD and city partners administered 890 COVID-19 and 136 flu vaccines at the November 10 clinic for a total of 1,026 shots. Of the COVID-19 vaccines administered, 74% were pediatric vaccines given to children ages 5-11.

Clinic Takeaways 7 POSITIVES CHANGES FOR DEC. 1 CLINIC ● Over 1,000 vaccines administered! ● Outreach via CPS and city/community channels successfully reached families of younger children ● School location drew families from across the city. ● Vaccinators spent time comforting children with anxieties/fears ● Strong partnership model with Fire and Police ● Focus on COVID-19 vaccination for pediatric population. ● Provide 2nd dose for those vaccinated at Nov. 10 clinic. ● Appointments required. ● No flu vaccine. ● Increase staffing for vaccine preparation.
