OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK CITY OF CAMBRIDGE [phone removed] FAX: [phone removed] PAULA M. CRANE DIANE P. LEBLANC CITY CLERK DEPUTY CITY CLERK October 13, 2022 Dear Honorable Mayor Siddiqui and Councillors, The vote taken on October 3, 2022, to ordain the Wage Theft Ordinance #2022-3, was taken prematurely due to a clerical error. This Ordinance passed to a second reading on September 19, 2022, and it was advertised in the Chronicle on September 29, 2022. The Municipal Code of the City of Cambridge, 1.12.030 - Public notice and hearing requirements, states that at least 10 days must pass after publication, before final passage. I recommend that the vote to ordain be taken again at the City Council meeting on October 17, 2022. I have put it on the agenda, under "Unfinished Business" Diane LeBlanc City Clerk CITY HALL, 795 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE, CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS 02139
