Banners shall have a minimum clearance of: a. 16 feet over a roadway b. 12 feet over a sidewalk 5. Banners shall not interfere with or obstruct, or otherwise block any roadway signs, lighting, or traffic signals. 6. The City reserves the right to remove, or order to be removed any banner deemed unsafe, not properly installed, or creating a hazard and the applicant may be subject to costs. 7. We have been contracted by Lesley University to print and install replacement street pole banners on MASS Ave. We will be taking down old banners, disposing of old and installing new banners (same size and materials). There are 48 banners in total with 24 installations on each side of MASS Ave (inbound and outbound). We have contracted Accurate Graphics of Lynn, MA to handle the installation. We have applied for Crane, Boom, Pump Truck permit with the DPW, supplied pole numbers to the Cambridge Electrical Department and will be hiring a police detail for the installation to handle traffic. We are planning for two days to install. The tentative installation date is 5/10-11.
