Attachments shall be made with proper hardware and shall only be attached with non-corrosive metal clamps or brackets. 2. Banners attached to poles shall not exceed a total of 1800 square inches, approximately 1o inches x 48 inches, 24 inches x 36 inches, 24 inches x 48, or 30 inches x 60 inches. The actual size is subject to required clearances. 3. Banners cannot be attached to wood utility poles. 4. Banners shall have a minimum clearance of: a. 16 feet over a roadway b. 12 feet over a sidewalk 5. Banners shall not interfere with or obstruct, or otherwise block any roadway signs, lighting, or traffic signals. 6. The City reserves the right to remove, or order to be removed any banner deemed unsafe, not properly installed, or creating a hazard and the applicant may be subject to costs. 7. HERITAGE FL G A To: The Cambridge City Council May 2, 2023 Honorable Councilors, On behalf of the American Repertory Theater, I would like to request permission for a light pole banner program to promote the ART's upcoming production of EVITA. We would like the banners to be installed from June 12 - July 30, 2023. We request permission to have the banners on eight Broadway poles and on eighteen Massachusetts Avenue poles. The pole numbers are as follows: Broadway: 79,80,81, 82, 83, 84, 86, 88 Massachusetts Avenue: 134, 140, 142, 148, 150, 154, 156, ?, 168, 170, 172, 174, 176, 178, 184, 180, 182, 188 In the event that the Broadway poles are unavailable, we would like to request that those eight locations be moved to JFK St.,, poles M27, M28, M29, M30, M12, M13, and two poles without visible numbers at the corner of Mt. Auburn St. The proposed banner desgns are attached.
