City Councillors: please support businesses & residents near Cambridge St
City Clerk, please enter this into the council record.
I am writing to echo the email sent to you by Charles Teague:
On Council Orders 1 & 2:
Fix the law that will allow businesses and residents to rent parking lots that are available after work hours.
BEFORE removing the street parking on Cambridge Street.
It makes sense to remove the parking during construction only if there is alternative parking.
That will allow residents, visitors, businesses, and their customers and employees to go about their lives, and
make Cambridge
a more civil and humane city.
Please approve these orders.
On Council Order 3:
Communities should have input. So a community meeting makes lots of sense. Please approve it.
Thank you,
Janet Randall

City Clerk, please enter this into the council record.
Please vote for these reasonable and thoughtful orders without amendment. It is only fair to provide
replacement parking before , not after, removing the street parking to support our neighborhood businesses,
employees, customers, and residents so that our community thrives together.
Order 3 is for a community meeting which, again, is only fair.
