Page1 of 1 MEMORANDUM To: Yi-An Huang, City Manager From: Brooke McKenna Transportation Commissioner, Traffic, Parking, + Transportation Department Date: June 13, 2024 Subject: Awaiting Report No. 24-025: Enforcement Measures near the intersection of Norman Street and Belmont Street ___________________________________________________________________________________ In response to Awaiting Report No. 24-025 requesting a report on implementing more robust ticketing and parking enforcement measures near the intersection of Norman Street and Belmont Street, we report the following: The Traffic, Parking and Transportation Department’s Parking Control Officers and Supervisors enforce the parking regulations across the City, including small and large commercial areas and residential areas. With respect to Norman Street and Belmont Street, this is an area that is primarily residential with some two-hour parking regulations around local businesses. This area is part of our regular enforcement routes covered by our Parking Control Officers. Additionally, this area is visited regularly by Parking Control Supervisors for additional coverage. We will continue to actively monitor and enforce the intersection of Norman Street and Belmont Street as well as the surrounding area and issue violations as appropriate.
