The proposal was initially reviewed by the CRA Design Review committee on June 5, 2024. It was then brought before the full CRA Board on June 20, 2024. Upon review of the dimensional exhibits, and the color scheme of the sign at this location, the proposed signage package was approved. As required in the MD Signage Guidelines, construction submittals should be sent to CRA staff for consistency review and final approval prior to fabrication. The CRA Board granted approval through the following motion: Approving the replacement sign for First Citizens Bank at 255 Main Street, Parcel 4 of the Kendall Square Urban Redevelopment Plan The details of the approved First Citizens Bank signage at 255 Main Street include the following: • Removal of all existing door vinyl in reference to Silicon Valley Bank (SVB). Application of a blue vinyl band along the door and windows to match the color scheme of First Citizens Bank. The width of the blue band is not to exceed 6. • Installation of a lexan replacement panel into the 40" × 19.5" blade sign. The lexan panel will be using the same blade attachment and frame.
