The City Council has directed that all curb cut petitions be submitted to the appropriate Neighborhood Associations for the locality where the curb cut would be made, so that the association may have an opportunity for review, prior to action by the City Council. February, 12, 2024 The Traffic, Parking, and Transportation Department Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to request permission to correct the curb cut for my driveway located at 6R Eaton Street, Cambridge MA, 02139. Currently, the curb cut is very off-center and too narrow. Cars parked on either side of the driveway often obstruct access, making it impassable with a vehicle. 6 By widening and centering the curb cut, it will facilitate easier entry and exit for vehicles, enhancing safety and convenience for both residents and visitors. I have collected permission from all my neighbors, abutters and property owners across the street who can all clearly see the problem too. Thank you for your attention to this request.
