Thanks, Thomas Hentschel 72A Cushing St From: Thomas Hentschel <[email removed]> Sent: Tuesday, December 10, 2024 9:04:11 AM To: council@cambridgema.gov <council@cambridgema.gov> Subject: Garden st redesign Dear city council, I enjoy the current design of garden street, which features a one way car lane and two lanes of bike lanes. As a biker, I rely on garden street as part of my journey to safely travel from the fresh water pond area to other parts of Cambridge, like Harvard and Porter square. I am concerned that introducing another lane of car traffic in the proposed change to garden st will reduce the safety and ease of biking along this street, especially at the intersection of garden st, huron ave, and Sherman st. Thanks for reading and all the work you do, Thomas Hentschel
