In the fall, my two kids will attend CRLS and will be using the bike lanes to get to/from school riding down Garden St. I support option 1 because * cars (headed out of Harvard Sq) do not expect on-coming southbound bicycle traffic. * Garden St. is a major route for students headed from North Cambridge/Neighborhood Nine to CRLS. * the bike lanes are currently designated for the south side of the street (=not the Harvard side) which would result in delivery trucks who are trying to deliver to residences on that side of the street to park in the bike lane*, thus forcing cyclists into the street and potentially into on-coming traffic if they are headed northbound. *I think even if delivery trucks and other vehicles are forbidden from entering the bike lane, human nature is to still park as close as possible when the trucks "just need to stop for a minute." Please keep our cyclists and students safe by voting for option 1. Thank you for your consideration, Tina Lieu 37 Huron Ave. #1, Cambridge, MA 02138
