I am writing to support the "City Manager's Agenda Item #5" in support of Option #1. I support option 1 because I am both a driver and a cyclist. Wider bike lanes and further distance from cars makes me feel safer as both a cyclist and a driver, since I don't feel as afraid about needing to skirt around cyclists.
