I am writing to support the "City Manager's Agenda Item #5" in support of Option #1. I support option 1 because Garden Street is my only safe option to commute roundtrip from North Cambridge to Harvard University where I work. I ride in the protected bike lanes on Garden Street year round. Equity on Garden Street must feel like oppression to motorists who are accustomed to having the whole road for travel and parking. Please do not give in to these selfish interests. It is still possible to drive and park a car in Cambridge, just not conveniently as before. Equity requires compromise, and the current design is a small one. Thank you, Gloria Korsman 91 Montgomery Street Cambridge MA 02140
