Dear City Council:
In accordance with Chapter 630 of the Acts of 1989, the Board of Election Commissioners invites you who
voted in favor of the proposed City Charter on April 14, 2025 (See attached), to submit:
➢ A consolidated argument in favor of the proposed charter, to be included in a mailing to voters prior to
the November 4, 2025, Municipal Election. Each argument should contain no more than two hundred
and fifty words and must be submitted to the Board of Election Commissioners by September 18, 2025.
Given time constraints related to printing and mailing, it would be appreciated if the arguments could be
submitted to the Board prior to September 18th if possible.
