WHEREAS:
On November 21, 2016, the City Council passed a Policy Order forwarding language
for a potential Surveillance Ordinance to the City Solicitor’s office to be vetted and
transcribed in a way that would allow it to be ultimately referred to the Ordinance
Committee for consideration at a future hearing; and
WHEREAS:
Considerable time has passed and the City Council has not seen the vetted language of
the potential ordinance; now therefor be it
ORDERED:
That the City Manager be and hereby is requested to confer with the City Solicitor’s
office and update the City Council on the vetting process.
