Blake & Knowles Foundry (101 Rogers Street) landmark designation
report and CHC recommendation
Attached please find the Final Landmark Designation Report for the Blake &
Knowles Foundry at 101 Rogers Street. On April 5, 2018, the Cambridge Historica
Commission voted unanimously to approve the designation report anc
recommendations, finding that the property meets the criteria in the ordinance for
landmark designation and to forward the report to the City Council with a positive
recommendation for designation.
Tom Evans and Carlos Peralta of the Cambridge Redevelopment Authority, have
attended the Commission's hearings regarding the landmark study and have made
no objections and have indicated support for a collaborative process going forward
with the project's design development.
