April 30, 2018
Cambridge City Council
795 Massachusetts Avenue
Cambridge, MA 02139
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing on behalf of the MIT List Visual Arts Center, the contemporary art museum at MIT
to request permission to display banners on Ames Street, where the List Center is located in
order to promote the Center's upcoming exhibitions Allison Katz: Diary w/o Dates and Carissa
Rodriguez: The Maid.
The design of the banners is in keeping with the List Center's logo and design standards and
will be professionally designed and printed according to material and size specification as
outlined in the attached request form. Every other banner has our logo, and our name. The
remaining banners have a representative image from the exhibition.
Enclosed please find detailed mock ups of the banners including a rendering of them on Ames
Street.
The banners will be printed and installed by Heritage Flag.
Thank you for considering this request.
