City of Cambridge O-12 ORIGINAL ORDER IN CITY COUNCIL June 25, 2018 COUNCILLOR KELLEY COUNCILLOR ZONDERVAN WHEREAS: Noisy airplane flights from Logan Airport pass over North and West Cambridge, as well as other neighborhoods and communities, and continue to negatively impact quality of life, sleep hygiene, work environments and other quality of life issues; now be it therefore ORDERED: That the City Manager be and hereby is requested to update the City Council at its July 30, 2018 meeting on the status of various efforts by the FAA, MassPort, MIT and the Massport Community Advisory Committee to study, assess and address noise issues associated with flights in and out of Logan Airport.
