City of Cambridge O-2 IN CITY COUNCIL October 29, 2018 COUNCILLOR MALLON COUNCILLOR SIDDIQUI WHEREAS: The lawn of the Mid-Cambridge library is one of the largest open green spaces in Mid- Cambridge; and WHEREAS: It is a popular place for dog owners to bring their dogs to play and socialize, however it is also a shared space with children and families at the playground nearby; and WHEREAS: Mid-Cambridge lacks a fenced-in dog park where dog owners can safely let their dogs off their leashes; now therefore be it ORDERED: That the City Manager be and hereby is requested to work with the Department of Public Works to section off an area of the Mid-Cambridge library lawn to dedicate to a dog park; and be it further ORDERED: That the City Manager report back to the City Council on this matter.
