COUNCILLOR MALLON
MAYOR MCGOVERN

need additional supports to thrive in our City, especially when their innovative
business models do not fit neatly into categories laid out in the Table of Uses or

operating a small business in the City of Cambridge; and

The Arts Council, License Commission, Inspectional Services Department, and others
involved in the permitting process all have key resources available for the artist

to provide additional support through creating a single point of entry via a City staff
member; now therefore be it

That the City Manager be and hereby is requested to confer with the Community
Development Department, Economic Development Department, and Cambridge Arts
