Mr. Gregory Matteosian 521 Medford St. Charlestown, MA. 02129 [phone removed] April 3, 2019 In re: 14 Jackson Street Curb Cut Permit Dear Cambridge City Counci Members, I was able to meet with Councilor Zondervan yesterday afternoon and review my application for a curb cut permit for 14 Jackson St., Cambridge. More specifically, we addressed NSCS Clerk Brandon's comments in his response to our request; namely (a.) Installing an underground electric line and; b.) working with the City of Cambridge arborist about planting a back of sidewalk tree on the property. I explained to Councilor Zondervan the efforts we are making to achieve the above. a. Underground Line: This one now has the green light. I am more than pleased to inform you that my electrician informed me today that Eversource advised him that we have permission to install an underground line to both 14 and 16 Jackson St. b. Back of Sidewalk Tree: When I discussed this with Mr. Brandon I told him that I would contact the arborist about a back of sidewalk tree once the homes were substantially completed. However, I felt I should move the process along. Therefore, I sent an email to the David Lefcourt, the city arborist today and copied Dick Cleary, Michael Brandon and Councilor Zondervan. I trust that this will demonstrate my remaining commitment to meet with the city regarding the Back of Sidewalk program and move the process along. Thank you for reading and providing me the opportunity to address the issues raised by Councilor Zondervan. I much appreciate Councilor Zondervan for meeting with me yesterday afternoon.
