We invited their representative, Lara Hakeem, and the sign company's rep, Pierre Gelinas, to our February meeting. They came and got our feedback on their slightly modified proposal. Following that meeting, Carol O'Hare (at my request) and I talked with Pierre and Lara several times asking them to lessen the green effect both at the door and on Somerville Ave (given the sense of the meeting and the online commentary). Additionally, they agreed to forgo the green awnings. Attached you will find the final design agreed on by both Citizens and PSNA: -It shows minor signage, which we have always agreed, -It shows no green awnings, -It shows a limited amount of painted green façade, -It shows dimmable lighting at the Somerville Avenue windows. Lara and Pierre have been very cooperative and open to the neighbors' request for a smaller visible presence in the Square, more in keeping with a small city neighborhood than a big city mall.
