PETERSON City Manager Deputy City Manager January 22, 2020 To the Honorable, the City Council: Re: Surveillance Technology Impact Reports Pursuant to the Surveillance Technology Ordinance, Chapter 2.128 of the Cambridge Municipal Code (the "Ordinance"), Section 2.128.030 thereof, I am submitting the following to the City Council for review and discussion at the January 22, 2020 Public Safety Committee meeting (the "Committee Meeting"): • Surveillance Technology Impact Reports ("STIRs"), for the School Department and Fire Department, describing Surveillance Technologies which are subject to the Ordinance, and which require Council approval. I ask that the Committee favorably recommend the attached STIRs to the City Council.
