Resolution on the death of Steven Sousa

City of Cambridge R-8 IN CITY COUNCIL January 27, 2020 COUNCILLOR TOOMEY MAYOR SIDDIQUI VICE MAYOR MALLON COUNCILLOR CARLONE COUNCILLOR MCGOVERN COUNCILLOR NOLAN COUNCILLOR SIMMONS COUNCILLOR SOBRINHO-WHEELER COUNCILLOR ZONDERVAN WHEREAS: The City Council was deeply saddened at learning of the death of Steven Sousa on January 9, 2020; and WHEREAS: Steven was a talented photographer and football enthusiast who enjoyed fixing computers, playing with his remote-control cars and admired all hot rods and exotic automobiles; and WHEREAS: Steven’s passing will leave a void in the lives of all his surviving family; his dear parents Jose and Maria; his loving siblings Walter and Christina and her husband Joshua; also survived by many loving family members and friends; and WHEREAS: Steven will be sorely missed by all he touched and loved; now therefore be it RESOLVED: That the City Council go on record extending its deepest sympathy for the family of Steven Sousa at this time of such personal loss; and be it further RESOLVED: That the City Clerk be and hereby is requested to forward a suitably engrossed copy of this resolution to the Sousa family on behalf of the entire City Council.
