Reopening Plan Summary
School Committee approved Superintendent’s recommendation to re-open schools
1. Staged Approach
○Sept 1: Staff planning, training
○Sept 8: Staff planning, training, & family conferences
○Sept 16: Students begin school with at home learning
(three days)
○Sept 21: Students begin school (in-person or remote)
with half days (four days)
○Sept 28: Students transition to full days (in-person
four days)
2. Remote learning for all grades with
family choice for in-person school
(4 days/week):
○Preschool - 12th grade, all students in substantially
separate special education programs
○Preschool - 12th grade, all students in sheltered
English immersion programs
