That the City Manager is requested to report back to the City Council on the projected fiscal impact of maintaining the current exemption for seniors, along with any administrative steps necessary to do so.

POR 2026-94 FIRST IN COUNCIL May 11, 2026 City of Cambridge COUNCILLOR SIMMONS COUNCILLOR ZUSY ORDERED: That the City Manager work with relative city departments to amend the existing plan to increase the residential parking sticker fee, to include a self-disclosed, check off box for anyone of any age for whom this fee is a hardship, to receive their sticker for free; and be it further ORDERED That the City Manager be and hereby requested to conduct a one-year review on how many apply for the hardship exemption and the impact on City finances.
