To the Honorable, the City Council:
I am hereby requesting a transfer, in the amount of $500,000, from the General Fund Employee Benefits
Salaries and Wages Account to the General Fund Fire Department Travel and Training Account. Funds
will be used to cover the costs of anticipated payments of workers compensation medical bills for Fire
Department personnel injured in the course of their job, through the end of FY26.
