CMA 2026-195 IN CITY COUNCIL June 22, 2026 To the Honorable, the City Council: I am hereby requesting the appropriation of MASSCAP Inc. funds in the amount of $1,821.91 to the Grant Fund Human Service Programs Other Ordinary Maintenance account. These funds, from MASSCAP, Inc., a private organization, will be used to provide assistance to Cambridge & Somerville residents with primary heating bills. Assistance may be provided to Home Energy Assistance clients who have exhausted benefits and to other residents, not eligible for the program who fall between 60% - 80% of the state median income.
