To the Honorable, the City Council:
I am hereby requesting the appropriation of a Summer Food Service Program for Children grant from the
Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in the amount of $506,088.00 to the
Grant Fund Human Service Programs Other Ordinary Maintenance account.
Funds will be used to provide nutritious meals to Cambridge youth at 28 meal sites throughout the City
during the summer months when schools are closed.
