To the Honorable, the City Council:
I am hereby requesting the appropriation of the Federal Fiscal Year 2026 Metropolitan Area Planning
Council (MAPC) Community Connections Grant, in the amount of $308,364.80 to the Grant Fund
Transportation Department Extraordinary Expenditures account.
Fund will support the replacement of nine (9) Bluebikes stations in the City of Cambridge, totaling one-
hundred-sixty-seven (167) station docks. The project includes purchase and installation of all station
equipment.
