Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the HOME Program for $1,525,682 to the Public Investment Fund Community Development Extraordinary Expenditures account to provide funds to create new affordable housing ($854,735), develop housing for the chronically homeless ($500,000) and to provide funding to local Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs), non-profits, ($170,947) for pre- development costs for affordable housing projects (required under HOME regulations)
