The appropriation of the FY12 Shannon Grant for $19,300 received from the Metropolitan Area Planning Council through the Executive Office of Public Safety to the Grant Fund Police Department Salary and Wages account which will be used to support additional youth violence prevention and anti-gang initiatives by the Police Department by increasing Police visibility, building enforcement and intervention capacities and supporting gang interdiction activities
