Requesting the appropriation of a Port Security Grant (FY 2013) from the Department of Homeland Security for $258,800.00 to the Public Investment Fund Fire Extraordinary Expenditures account which will replace a 14 year old inflatable rescue boat and diving equipment, purchase specialized diving equipment for contaminated water which meets the requirements of a FEMA Type 1 Dive Team, and purchase a scanning sonar unit to aid in locating a drowning victim on the bottom of a body of water
