Denise Simmons transmitting congratulations to everyone who ran for election in the City Council race and notifying her colleagues that she will be unable to attend City Council meetings for a period of three or four weeks due to recovery and recuperation from a medical procedure. What happened

The clerk's record shows no vote or disposition against this item. Some are received and filed without one, and a roundtable takes no votes at all. If the city's record shows otherwise, that is exactly what an audit should catch.
