The City Manager is requested to direct the Inspectional Services Department and other appropriate City departments to work with the Department of Conservation and Recreation and the Charles River Conservation Group to develop a plan to prevent unintended consequences of the cleanup of the Charles River, particularly displacement of river rats into nearby neighborhoods and to implement the plan as soon as work on the Charles River begins
