City Council go on record that the priorities be to provide REC’s that maximizes the maximum feasible match of the Massachusetts Technology Council (MTC) or promotes new (since January 1998) renewable energy generation in our areas; renewable energy that benefits the New England grid; purchase Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) that benefit local air quality; and resource types to include wind, solar, biomass and landfill gas
