That the City Manager is requested to instruct the Director of the Traffic, Parking and Transportation Department to report back to the City Council as to the feasibility of applying for a permit from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to restrict truck traffic for the full day on Roberts Road on the basis of severe deterioration of the roadway, residential land use, and frequency of commercial vehicles; and, if that is not an option, alternative measures that can be undertaken to limit truck traffic on the street.
