WHEREAS: There are a number of developments and construction projects currently taking place in the City of Cambridge; and

WHEREAS: There are a number of developments that are in various stages of planning or are awaiting approval that are due to take place in Cambridge over the coming decade; and

WHEREAS: With all of the construction, and the proposed construction, taking place in various locations across the city, it can be difficult to have a sense of exactly how much development in a particular area of the city may be taking place at any given time; now therefore be it

ORDERED: That the City Manager be and hereby is requested to confer with the Community Development Department and other relevant departments in order to present to the City Council a map of Cambridge that shows, by location and by date, all of the areas where construction is and will be taking place over the coming decade.
